On motion of Mr Buck of Orland, Ordered that a joint special Committee to consist of one from each County in the State, with such as the Senate may join to inquire into the expediency of altering the time established by law for taking the valuation of property for the purpose of taxation from the first day of May to the first day of April - and Messrs Mildram of York, Bucknam of Cumberland, Spear of Lincoln, Buck of Hancock, Mowry of Washington, Woodman of Kennebec, Noyes of Oxford, Spaulding of Somerset, Chase of Penobscot, and Heagan of Waldo Counties, with such as the Senate may join.
