Resolve - An additional Resolve for the relief of the town of Hartland, was read & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate

Bill - authorizing the extending and enlarging of a wharf in the tide waters in Eastport, was read a 1st & 2d. time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a third reading.

Bill - authorizing the Supreme Judicial Court to grant leave to the guardians of Insane persons to make a conveyance of real estate in certain cases, was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d. reading.

Report of the committee on the petition of Cornelius Thompson & others came from the Senate, that body noncurring the House in their reference of the report on the 26th to the committee on the Incorporation of Towns and adhering to their vote of the 24th inst. giving the petitioners leave to withdraw - and the House ordered the Report to lie on the table.

Mr. Scamman of Pittston moved the following rule to be added to the Rules & Orders of the House -

"when a subject is under debate, no member shall be allowed to attribute to the mover or debator any motive that does not appear in the language used; nor use any language that personally reflects on any member of the House" - and the subject

Orders of notice on the petition of Clark Clements & als - of M.P. Sawyer & others - of Wm. M. Rogers

was reported - accepted & sent up for concurrence
