The Committee on engrossed bills reported as truly engrossed, Bill - An act to incorporate the Proprietors of the Forest Grove Cemetery which was passed to be enacted. Sent up in concurrence.

Mr Dumont of Hallowell, laid upon the table the following order.

Ordered, that the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of enlarging the jurisdiction of Justice of the Peace - which was read and on motion laid on the table.

On motion by Mr Brooks of Portland, Ordered, that the Governor be requested to send to each of our Senators and Representatives in Congress a copy of the Resolve entitled a "Resolve relating to a rail road from some point on the seaboard by navigable waters to Quebec. Sent up for concurrence.

And the House adjourned.
