Bill establishing the Salaries of Clerks of the Judicial Courts and giving further remedies on Clerks Bonds (reported by Mr. Tobin with amendments which were adopted) was read once and Wednesday next at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill authorizing the erection of a Dam across Winnegance Creek (reported by Mr. Tobin from the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals on petition of William M. Rogers, " to incorporate the West Branch Boom Company (reported in the House by the same Committee, on petition of Robert Gibson and others), " to incorporate the Wild River Bridge Company (reported by the same Committee, on petition of Seth Wight and others) " incorporating a Company for the purpose of making a Turnpike Road in the town of Calais (reported by the same Committee, on petition of Samuel Kelley and others), " in addition to an Act to regulate the jurisdiction and proceedings of Courts of Probate (in new draft) " authorizing Judges of Probate in certain cases to grant license to husbands to make sale of real estate held in right of their wives (reported in the House by the Committee on the Judiciary on an order relative to the sale of real estate of married women) severally read once and Monday next at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.
