Standing Committee on "Turnpikes Bridges and Canals" there be three following Joint Standing Committees to wit:

On Roads and Bridges, On Canals and Rail Roads. On Interior Waters. Read and accepted in concurrence.

On motion of Mr Jewett. Ordered, that a message be sent to the House of Representatives, proposing a Convention of the two Branches in the Representative's Hall tomorrow at eleven o'clock for the purpose of electing seven Councilors to advise the Governor in his executive duties for the current political year; and also for the Choice of Secretary of State, which message was delivered by the Secretary. A message was received from the House concurring in the foregoing proposition.
