Bill establishing the Salary of the Attorney General came up. The House, insisting on their vote refusing said Bill a passage, propose a Conference and appoint as Conferees on their part Messrs. Allen of Bangor, Sturdivant of Cumberland and Paine of Hallowell. The Senate insist on their vote passing the same to be engrossed and concur in the proposition for a Conference and appoint, as Conferees Messrs. Clark, Jewett and Severance.

Bill allowing costs to persons charged with crimes in certain cases was read once and indefinitely postponed, in concurrence.

Resolve in favor of the Road from Moosehead Lake to Brighton came up from the House indefinitely postponed. And the question of receding from the vote passing said Bill to be engrossed and concurring with the House in the indefinite postponement of the same, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the affirmative, as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Allen, Frye, Jarvis, Jewett, Merrow, Miller, Pierce, Severance, Spear, Staples, Strickland, Swift, Talbot and Weeks, 14. Nays. Messrs. Benson, Clark, Fish, Greene, Johnson, Kelsey, Latham, Mantor, McIntire & Robinson, 10.

The Senate on motion of Mr. Clark, reconsider their vote of yesterday refusing a passage to "Bill to increase the Capital Stock of York Bank." And the question of passing the same to be engrossed was decided in the affirmative by yeas and nays as follows, to wit:
