And we went and opened several doors and found every thing all right through one hall; and when we came to another hall we found one patient in a room where there was no bed, or in the straw. I found some patients in the lodges with only straw beds; but they were patients that the superintendent and others having them in charge, said were of such a nature that they had to be kept in that way.
