Camden Nov. 14 1829 Dear Sir Yours of May the 1 I Re'd I was sorry to hear you head not re'd the money for the taxes for the last year the money his ben in Messer Hill & Starretts hand ever sence last September & they have the money in there hands to pay the taxes for the present year I wish you would jaw [?] to them if you have an opertunity & git the money & pay the taxes we will sattisfy you for your truble in the end. I have not ben able as yet to see Mr. Ewins nor have I ben able to assertaine what he would sell for but I am convinst he head better sell if he can git enaugh to pay the taxes which he has paid -- Sir if you will take the truble to git the money from Hill & Storrett [?] for the present year & last if not re'd before this & write me what the taxes are for the present year & whether you have got the money or not You will oblidge Yours Respectfully William Carleton
