Duties -- study the desirability and need of establishing a Department of Rehabilitation combing the Division of Vocational Rehabilita-tion of the Department of Education and the Division of Eye Care and Special Services of the Department of Health and Welfare.

Member -- 1 Senator appointed by President of the Senate; 1 Repre-sentative appointed by Speaker of the House; and 6 appointed by the Governor, 2 of whom shall be members of the Maine Chapter of the National Rehabilitation Association, 1 each from the Depart-ment of Education and Department of Health and Welfare, and 2 representing the public.
