100 Oct 11th I feel pretty well this morning. nothing of eny interest has taken place to day. We had 13 recrutes join our Company to day. so now our Company is so much larger then it was.

Oct 12th To day is sunday. and it is a cold raw day and it rains some. it now looks like fall. I feel pretty well to day and the Doctor has marked me for duty. but I dont feel strong enough to do duty yet.

101 Oct 13th It is cold and cloudy to day. and it rained most all night last night To day I commenced to do light duty. nothing of eny consequence has taken place to day. we are still at Sharpsburg. with General Porter.

  To day I feel pretty well but dont feel well enough to go on Ordlies duty carrying dispatches yet. nothing of eny interest has taken place to day. it has been a little warmer to day then it was yesterday.
