Sir - I am desired by Gov. Lincoln to give you what information might be in my power, respecting the rights of the Penobscot Indians to certain fishing privileges, upon which subject you recently addressed a communication to him. I would state, there fore, for your information, that the subject has already been attended to at the request of the Priest who has the charge of the Indians.
