June 1, 1951 Mrs. Henry Beston Chimney Farm Nobleboro, Maine Dear Elizabeth Coatsworth: The two new Maine books have arrived, and we are delighted thet they may grace the collection. DOLLAR FOR LUCK is a wonderful story, and as for THE ENCHANTED -- it is a rare and beautiful gem of a book. I don't know whether to hope that it will have a wide popularity, or to hope that only the few who will really appreciate it ever know of it!
