Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot is a specific slot that lets you bring guns into an operation. Some players utilize this slot to aid in achieving certain goals, especially those going for Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the additional pistol to make an additional gap. It's important to note that in order to select the pistols that belong in this slot, click on the button for the appropriate category, like alternate slot 2 machine guns. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much simpler to accomplish. This combo increases the damage tick every 10 seconds from the concealed Weapon as long as it is positioned.
Slot for Smuggled Items
The smuggled items slot is an excellent option for allowing players to bring in tools and weapons, however it could be improved with a better affordance. It's currently designed to resemble a pistol, which makes it difficult to differentiate the smuggled weapon slot from other slots for gear.
The smuggle slots are used to store a wide variety of items - from concussion devices to explosives for weapons to more subtle concussions. These items can be found in a variety of hidden locations throughout the map. They can also be retrieved at any time. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small items in the scenery or objects.
Mission planning is a feature available in short-term missions that allow players to discover different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots prior to their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This lets players prepare the perfect task for each challenge.
Gear Slot
The gear slots will rapidly fill up early in the game, which will result in the dreaded message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message stops Max to select new equipment until the previous items are removed or more space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the answer to this issue. They give players more inventory space to complete challenges missions. However, because many of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and could be missed it could take some time to get the largest amount of inventory slots available in-game.
Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.
Pickups by agencies
As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store items that do not fit into your slot for weapons or gear, and retrieve them later.
These pickups are especially useful when you have to pass through a frisk later in the course of your mission or if you're carrying a weapon that might otherwise trigger suspicion. You can only hide one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.
This DLC also includes new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Once you have reached the marker, identify a mob at the time you arrive.
