Correspondence from William Brooks Cabot to Fannie Hardy Eckstorm ca. 1930-1946, part 1 (ms158_b1f017_001.12.pdf)
to expose a meaning. You get spirit forms among them, for persons with super powers; the munt [?] & other manitú forms come in.
I had what is probably my last walk hereabouts where I was born & hunted & fished, ten miles with 1000 ft. steepish in it, about all in woods, a lonely saddle pond about halfway, started 3 single partridges. If here next year my legs will be too short for the walk.
Sincerely,
W. Cabot
