Petitions of Samuel J Foster & Charles Cooper to be incorporated for the purpose of building booms on Penobscot River &c - of Waldo T Pierce & others on the same subject, were severally read & referred to the Committee on Interior Waters. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Elijah Wood & others that sheep may be exempted from taxation, was read and referred to the Committee on Agriculture. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of William T. Gerrish & others for a renewal of the Charter of Kittery Point Bridge - was read & referred to the Committee on Roads and Bridges. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Alexander Boothby for further time to select land &c was read & referred to the Committee on State Lands. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of M.F. Kimball & others in relation to the Ministerial fund in Rumford was read & referred to the Committee on Literary Institutions. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An additional act respecting Manufacturing Companies, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed and the question was taken by yeas & nays and decided as follows yeas 120 Nays 46 ( see appendix page 37.) Sent up for concurrence.
