Bill - An Act to incorporate the Ellsworth Bank was read a third time & passage refused and the question was decided by yeas & nays - yeas 58 nays 86 [see appendix page 199.] Sent up for concurrence.
Remonstrance of Manly Hardy & others against the Petition of Sewall Lake & others for a Bank in Bucksport - was read and 300 copies ordered to be printed for the use of the members.
And then the House adjourned.
