Monday March 28th 1836
Met according to adjournment.
On motion of Mr Foster of Pembroke Ordered, That the House of Representatives hold a session every evening till the recess, commenting at seven o'clock.
Resolve for the relief of Solomon Littlefield, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed with an amendment. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill - An Act in addition to an act for the preservation of Salmon, Shad and Alewives in the Penobscot River and Bay and their tributary waters, came from the Senate amended for concurrence - the House agreed thereto & passed the Bill to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate
Bill - An Act to incorporate the South West Bend Mill Dam Company - - " to establish the Bangor Female Orphan Asylum - - " additional act to establish a Registry of Deeds for the Eastern District of Lincoln County - " act to incorporate the Hallowell Granite Rail Road Company - - " " concerning assignments - were severally read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence
Resolve making appropriations for Military purposes - was read once & tomorrow at 11 oclock assigned for a 2d reading.
