On motion of Mr Soule of Freeport, Ordered, That the Committee on the Pay Roll, make up the Pay of John Leishman for his travel and attendance up to and including tomorrow.

Bill - An Act to abolish imprisonment for debt was called up & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act to incorporate the Wells Granite Company, laid on the table by Mr Mildram of Wells, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10' oclock assigned for a third reading.

Report on Bill "to incorporate the Molechunkamunk Sluice Company referring the same to the next Legislature, was read & accepted in concurrence.

Bill - An Act to provide for the repair of highways in certain unincorporated Townships was read a third time and passed to be engrossed with amendments. Sent up for concurrence.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed Resolve - authorizing the Board of Internal Improvements to commence a Geological Survey of the State, Which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

The same Committee reported as truly engrossed Bill - An Act to prohibit agencies for Banks out of the State, Private Banking and to regulate Banks & Banking - - " to change the names of certain persons - - " prohibiting arrests & holding courts on the fourth day of July, on the day of State Elections, Training or Reviews -
