Bill - An additional act to increase the tax on Banks was read and referred to the next Legislature in concurrence.

The special Committee, to whom was referred an order, directing them to inquire into the expediency of devising some more equal, and safe circulating medium than that furnished by the present Banking system, reported Bill - An Act to establish a State Bank - which was read once & ordered to lie on the table -

Resolve in favor of John Hodgdon was read a second time and ordered to lie on the table

Bill - An additional act for the punishment of felonious assaults and attempts to poison, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act in addition to an act entitled an act to secure to owners their property in logs, masts, spars and other timber, was read a third time and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve authorizing the acting Quarter Master General to convey a lot of land and to dispose of the gun house in Wiscasset, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Bill - An Act to establish a municipal Court in the town of Augusta, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence.
