Johnson of Cornish, Allen of Bangor, Goodmow of Paris, Phinney of Standish, Sproul of Waldoboro : and Foster of Cherryfield were joined.

That so much as relates to the State's Prison, be referred to the Joint Standing Committee on the State Prison. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

That so much as relates to an insane Hospital, be referred to a Joint Select Committee, consisting on the part of the Senate of Messrs. Robinson of Kennebec, Rogers and Carr with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence. Came up and Messrs. Coney of Augusta, Buzzell of Cape Elisabeth, Came of Buxton, Parsons of Westport, Fose of Portland, Hooper of Castine, and Marden of Palermo were joined in concurrence.

That so much as relates to the Surplus Revenue, be referred to a Joint Select Committee, consisting on the part of the Senate of Messrs. Greene, Woodman, Maqoun, Staples and Burr, with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence. Came up and Messrs. Foster of Pembroke, Smart of Plymouth, Fowle of Parsonsfield, Dunlap of Brunswick, Smith of Norway, Knowlton of Montville, Pillsbury of Bucksport,
