Curriex and others praying for a County on honey; -"- of Eleazer Beard and others, praying to be incorporated by the name of the " Maine Bee Company;" -"- of the inhabitants of Strong, praying to increase the bounty on Wolves - severally read and referred to the Committee on Agriculture, in concurrence.

Petition of John Boardman, Clerk of the Penobscot Mill and Manufacturing Company, praying that said, Company may erect Mills and Factories; -"- of Isaac Farrax and others, praying to be incorporated for the purpose of improving certain Streams and Lake in the County of Penobscot; -"- of Milton Philbrook and others, praying to be incorporated for the purpose of erecting a Dam, Locks and Mills on the Kennebec River, at Fairfield - severally read and referred to the Committee on Interior Waters, in concurrence.

Bill for the removal of the Seat of Government from Augusta to Portland was taken up and further considered. Mr Benson moved to amend the amendment proposed by the House, by adding after the word "thereof", in the eleventh line the words, " and shall also ascertain the number of legal.
