A message from the House by Mr. Child their clerk _ "Mr. President, the House of Representatives have assigned tomorrow at 11 o'clock on their part for the purpose of choosing a Senator for the United States Congress."
 
  
At 12 o'clock the two Houses met in convention agreeably to assignment of yesterday, and proceeded to the election of seven counsellors to advise the Governor in the executive part of his duty.
