In Senate June 1st 1820. Read & passed. Sent down for concurrence. Read and concurred. sent up.

Agreeably to assignment the two Houses met in convention, when William King Esqr, accompanied by the Treasurer and Secretary of State pro. tem. attended by the sheriff of Cumberland, came in, and look and subscribed the oaths prescribed by the Constitution to quality him for discharging the duties of Governor of the State of Maine. [Governor onward in bold]
