Deer Isle. May 25/ 62 Dear Sir 

        The undersigned being

one of the many invalid soldiers sent from Yorktown would re- quest a descriptive list from the Adjt General. Duing to the great haste in which the soldiers left, the required list could ^ not be ob- tained but was informed by the Col that if such a list shouls fail to appear within ^ a few days after reaching home- one could be obtained from the State General- under these circumstnces you are consulted- Yours Respectfully
