Petition of Nathaniel Hill and others that the Courts and public offices in the County of York may be established at one place came from the House referred to the Committee on the Judiciary and the Senate nonconcur with the House in their reference and referred the same to Messrs Washburn & Churchill with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence – Concurred and Messrs. Bartlett, Thoms & Bryant were joined.

On motion by Mr. Balkam Ordered that the Secretary of State notify the Governor, that the two Houses of the Legislature, on the twenty sixth day of January current, elected William Waterman of Buxton, Major General of the first Division of the Militia of this State.
