Bill to incorporated the York Chapter of Royal Arch Masons was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate Literary Fraternity of Waterville College, was read 1st & 2nd time & Monday next at ten oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Bill to incorporate the town of Bayleyville, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve laying a tax on the several Counties in this State, was read a 1st & 2nd time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Report of the committee to inquire into the expediency of providing for the appointment of a Civil Engineer, that legislation is inexpedient, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Bill additional act regulating the fishery of Atewives in the town of Mount Desert, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

The House assigned Monday next at three oclock to consider the Bill providing for the promotion of Education.
