Petition of John P. Simes & als, Clerks at the Navy Yard near Portsmouth, to be exempted from Military duty was read & referred to the committee on the militia & military affairs, Sent up for concurrence.
Petition of Jedidiah Dow setting forth that he has discovered a mode of preserving Domestic animals & requesting aid from the Legislature, was read & referred to the committee on so much of the Governor's Speech as relates to agriculture &c. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill to incorporate the Gardiner Mutual Fire Insurance Comp[any, reported with an amendment which was adopted, was read a third times & pass to be engrosses as thus amended.Sent up for concurrence.
