I have summoned & given Notice to the within named John Swett Esq. to appear & answer according to the Tenor of this Writ by Reading the Same to him Att. Theodore Moulton Und. Sheriff officers fees 1/3 And the said John Swett administrator as aforesaid comes ["& defends His" is crossed out] and saith he hath not broken the Covenants aforesaid but hath kept the same and [illegible] of this he puts himself on the Country
