On motion of Mr Myrick of New Castle, Ordered, That the Senate be requested to take from their files of the last year, the petition of John Dole & others, Selectmen of the town of Alna praying, for opening of the fish ways in Sheepscot River, and send down to this House - read & passed. Sent up.

On motion of Mr Smith of Nobleboro', Ordered, That the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to report to the House a Resolve altering the time of the commencement of the fall term of the Supreme Court in the County of Lincoln from the third to the second Tuesday of September - read & passed Sent up for concurrence

Petitions of Mark White & als of Standish & Gorham to be incorporated as a Town - of Thomas Mitchell & al of Harrington to be annexed to Addison - of Adam Weed of Thorndike to be annexed to Knox -

Remonstrance of William Harris & als against the petition of Mark White & als - of the Selectmen of Thorndike against the petition of Adam Weed - were severally read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of Towns. Sent up for concurrence

Petition of James Gower [?] & al that certain bridge may be enacted at their expense of the County - of Jabez Dagget & als for a revision of the laws regulating attachments &c - of the Selectmen of Akinson for a grant of land & - of Martin Kinsley & al of Hamden to be incorporated as a mutual fire { insurance Company - were severally read & referred to the committee on the Judiciary - Sent up for concurrence.
