92 On motion of Mr Wells of Freeport,

  Ordered, That the Senate be requested to take from their files of last years the petition of John Stock bridge & others and send the same to this House - read & passed. Sent up.

Petition of the Inhabitants of Fryeburg & report thereon, taken from the last years files of the Senate, & sent down, was referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Thomas Bartlett & others that Inholders & Retailers may be restrained by law from from selling Ardent Spirits & Indians - of the Penobscot Tribe of Indians on the same subject and requesting the Legislature to aid them in expelling the arts of intemperance from their Tribe- were severally read & referred to Messrs Kent of Bangor, Gilman of Wells & Small of Unity

Petition of John Dickinson, Judge of Probate for Washington County praying for an increase of his Salary, was read & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.
