Bill establishing the town line between Bristol & Bremen, laid upon the table by Mr Maxter of Bristol on leave first had & obtained for the purpose, was read once & referred to the Committee on the incorporation of Towns. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve authorizing the Penobscot Indians to sell two Townships of Land & Pine Timber, was read once & referred to Messrs Pond of Bucksport, Kent of Bangor & Howard of Brownfield

Resolve in favor of the President, Directors & Company of the Canal bank was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill in addition to an act to incorporate the Canal Bank, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed with an amendment as on sheet annexed marked A. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in favor of James Dyer, was read once & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a second reading.

Bill in addition to an act to incorporate the President, Director & Company of the bank of Portland, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Petition of the Trusteed of the Maine Westeyan Seminary Trustees of Scarborne Academy came from the Senate severally referred to the Committee on Literature & Literary Instructions for concurrence & the House concurred.
