Bill ceding to the United States the jurisdiction of a certain tract of land in the town of Boothbay, was read a 3rd time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to annex a part of the Town of Anson to New Portland, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate

Resolve in favor of Geroge Sawtell, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Smith of Nobleboro,

   Ordered, That Messrs Smith of Nobleboro Boutelle of Waterville & Adams of Portland be a committee to enquire into the expedient of granting a donation of lands for the support of the Freebridges in the towns of Saco and Biddeford that cross the Saco River on the maine mall route, to wit the bridge on the Saco side below the falls and on the Biddeford side below the ripplings - read & passed
