104 Governors message - and the House concurred.

On motion of Mr. Ruggles of Thomaston, Ordered, That the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire whether any alterations are necessary in the existing laws relative to the power of Courts in entering up judgment on general verdict, with leave to report &. read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr. Kent of Bangor, Ordered, That the Senate be requested to take from their files of last year & send to this House, the petition of Seward Porter relative to the navigation of Sebago Pond. read & passed. Sent up.

Bill - an additional act respecting the Winthrop Bank, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill altering the time of the fall term of the Supreme Judicial Court in the County of Lincoln, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to encourage the destruction of Crows, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - to authorize the removal of prisoners from the jail in the County of Penobscot to the jail in the County of Waldo, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed with an amendment. Sent up for concurrence.
