[Petition referred] The petition of Samuel Hale and others, to be incorporated into a Manufacturing Company was read and referred to the Joint Standing Committee on Manufactures, in concurrence. [Report on the pet. of the Inhbts of Monhegan Island] Mr. Hall from the Joint Standing Committee on Interior Fisheries reported leave to withdraw on the petition of sundry inhabitants of Monhegan Island, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. [Petitions referred] The petition of Benjamin S. Knight from half of a penalty recovered by the State in certain prosecutions for the sale of foreign tickets, were read and referred to the Joint Select Committee who have under consideration an order of January 29th, relative to the sale of Lottery tickets in this State in concurrence. The petition of Joseph Leland and others, for a Bank at Saco, was read and referred to the Joint Standing Committee on Banks and Banking, in concurrence. The petition of Moses Appleton and others for a Bank at Waterville, was read and referred to the same Committee, in concurrence.
