Bill to incorporate the Trustees of Union Academy, Bill to increase the Capital Stock of the Portland Marine Railway, Bill additional to an act regulating Judicial process and proceedings, Bill to incorporate the Stroudwater Mill Dam Company, and the same were severally passed to be enacted

Mr Cobb announced to the Boarfd that Anson G. Chandler, Senator elect, for the Eighth Senatorial District, was present and ready to be qualified; therefore ordered, that Mr CObb conduct the said Senator elect to the Governor and Council to take and subscribe the oaths required by the Constituion to qualify him to enter upon the discharge of his official duties at the Senate Board.
