Mr Mildram, from the Committee, to which was referred the Report of the Treasurer of State, on the finances, made a report, which was read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Ordered, That so much of the Treasurer's report as relates to several notes of hand, given by different persons for land, now due, be referred to the Joint Standing Committee on State Lands. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Petition of Chs B. Smith and another
Praying for an additional Act authorizing the Portland Mining Company and Railway Company to issue on hundred shares in addition to their present Capital - read and referred to the Committee on Manufactures. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Petition of the inhabitants of Sumner, praying for an alteration of the laws, relating to the opening, making and repairing of County Roads, came up form the House referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.
