Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of so altering the law relative to attachment of personal property on mesne[?] process, that when any live animals or any goods or chattels, which are liable to waste or perish or to be greatly reduced in value by keeking[keeping], or which cannot be kept without great and disproportionate expense, the same may be appraised and sold at the request of either party - read and passed in concurrence.
Order from the House of Representatives, directing the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions, to inquire into the expediency of so altering the law respecting the education of youth, that no Selectmen of towns nor Assessors of plantations shall order any money out of the Treasury, to any School Agent unless said Agent produce a certificate from the Superinting School Committee that such school has been kept by a Master or Mistress well qualified to teach said School - read and passed, in concurrence.
