My dear Sir,
Mr Ripley is of opinion, that the nomination of Mr Woodward, whom I know to be a worthy candid character, is preferable to that of Mr Chase; as it would greatly promote the cause of the friends of this Country, at Hanover. -- pray give me your opinion, as I propose to proceed on that business soon.
How stands the matter, on which we conferred, of a personal [underlined] nature?
When do you expect to adjourn? --
Council Chamber
26th June --
Yours very sincerely
E Gerry
Major General King
