Dear Mrs. Eckstorm,
 +
I have your [?] letter, with its unexpected analysis.  We [?] the name here, you know, Winthrop + R. Williams which is as we do.  [?] [?] of him appeared meant island, not that I have tried to find out.  [?] had an idea of looking at one sometimes, but three nieces of mine [?] past been there + report seeing one man-visitor about + twenty women.

To me the [?] prefix has been the hardest to pin down of any, but seems pretty straight in your regions.  Also the -gan ending [?] about some.  Though usually solid at bottom.  We thought -egan probably the same as in [?].  Your  mention of [?] takes me back, 1901, 02.  The people were likeable, if a bit too [?]
