The Neptunes were all distinguished by aquiline noses, the Neptune nose being quite a feature. Joe Neptune was a grandsonSo said father but I am told it was a notorious [underlined] feature.  It was a Neptune feature! (Ranco)

Peter Soccabesin was the Indian dandy, old Soccabesin Neptune's son. He was the one who called grandmother "Kataline" He went hunting and also traded.  Was engaged to a Squaw up St. Francis & Otis Ellis cut him out, but afterwards deserted the woman.  In 1861 father saw her & a son of Ellis about 17 yrs old.  Ellis then married an Irish woman.
