Den S'batt's Dana she gone woods got um old bark, old tree, much's so t'ick (measuring).  Den she made it her canoe bed S'batt's Dana an' me told him she'll have it hump in bow her canoe cause bed dont bend [?].  Den she sewed it her canoe what you call it bottom chairs with {rattan}  Then she nail it copper nails.  The she make it all smoove sandpaper -- oh, bery nice canoe.  Speak so she was bes' canoe  She was made, T'irty five dollars he give John Tabor Davis S'batt's Dana dat canoe!
