The Proprietors took under Consideration the expediency

of sending over more Agents to view the Lands in the late

Vote that a Committee be appointed for said purpose

and that the Committee be and hereby are Authorized, impowered

and requested to quiet such Persons as have set down
 +
and made Improvements to the Proprietors Lands by
 +
executing in the Name and behalf of the Proprietors
 +
Deeds of bargain and Sale with Warranty against all
 +
Persons claiming under Us or our Heirs to all such
 +
Settlers of such Tracts of Land as they
 +
have Made Improvements upon not exceeding one
 +
hundred Acres to any one settler; upon their paying
 +
such Consideration for said Land as the Value of said
 +
Land were previous to any Improvements being
 +
made by said Settlers; And also in the same Manner

and Proportion to all other persons who may be
 +
desirous of settling upon said Land for the Im=

provement and further Settlement thereof --

Voted that Col Josiah Waters + John Avery jun

or either of them be a Committee for the purpose aforesaid and Said

�Tuesday November 20 1781 the Proprietors of a certain Tract of Land Laying in the Province of Maine holden under the Will of Bridget Phillips late of Boston deceased met According to adjournment at the Coffee House in Boston

Present The Hon'ble William Phillips Esq Moderator His Honor Thomas Cushing Esq + Hon'ble Jeremiah Powell Esq SN Gowen Brown, Col Josiah Waters jun SN William Phillips jun Jonathan Mason + John Avery jun

The Proprietors took under Consideration the expediency of sending over more Agents to view the Lands in the late Province of Maine belonging to the Propriety and thereupon Vote that a Committee be appointed for said purpose and that the Committee be and hereby are Authorized, impowered and requested to quiet such Persons as have set down and made Improvements to the Proprietors Lands by executing in the Name and behalf of the Proprietors Deeds of bargain and Sale with Warranty against all Persons claiming under Us or our Heirs to all such Settlers of such Tracts of Land as they have Made Improvements upon not exceeding one hundred Acres to any one settler; upon their paying such Consideration for said Land as the Value of said Land were previous to any Improvements being made by said Settlers; And also in the same Manner and Proportion to all other persons who may be desirous of settling upon said Land for the Im= provement and further Settlement thereof --

Voted that Col Josiah Waters + John Avery jun or either of them be a Committee for the purpose aforesaid and Said Committee be and they are hereby impowered to appoint an Agent to present all Trespassers upon said Land if they shall think it necessary --

Voted to adjourn to Tuesday the first day of January next Then to meet at the Coffee House in Boston at 6 OClock P.M. and said meeting is adjourned accordingly
