I was president of the board and considered it my duty to look after it a good deal closer than I did before, and kept working into it until I thought I understood pretty well what the working was in the inside of the hospital except in the medical department. Q. You went to the Worcester hospital , there they have a great many chronic insane? A. Yes I think when we were there they were all together in the old hospital, the new one was not finished. We got there one morning and my recollection is that we went and examined the patients in the old hospital one day and another day, I think not the same day, we examined the new hospital to see what improvements had been made. Q. Not being a physician you did not learn any particular facts in regard to the curative management of the Worcester hospital? A. No sir Q. Would a couple of days six time a year make about the times you spent at the hospital during the 8 or 9 years? A. Perhaps it ould the first half of the time, perhaps not the whole time. Q.
