Hudson, Thames & Connecticut. Well, somewhat buried in my Maine names I notice Kananaghetne, Nobleborough, Me. Mass. Arch. Town Plans, 1794 v. 10, p. 24
Sketch enclosed - a pretty accurate tracing, in fact.
I shouldn't suppose the Kenegh- names meant just the same as Monhegan, but near enough to serve. It is interesting to find that form in your territory.
