Dear Mrs. Eckstorm, I have your [?] letter, with its unexpected analysis. We [?] the name here, you know, Winthrop + R. Williams which is as we do. [?] [?] of him appeared meant island, not that I have tried to find out. [?] had an idea of looking at one sometimes, but three nieces of mine [?] past been there + report seeing one man-visitor about + twenty women.

To me the [?] prefix has been the hardest to pin down of any, but seems pretty straight in your regions. Also the -gan ending [?] about some. Though usually solid at bottom. We thought -egan probably the same as in [?]. Your mention of [?] takes me back, 1901, 02. The people were likeable, if a bit too [?]
