Then John Avery Jun made solemn Oath that he will faithfully discharge and execute the duties of the Office of Clerk to the Proprietors of the Common and un= =divided Lands in the Late Province of Maine in the County of York under Samuel Phillips, and William Phillips, according to the best of his abilities
