Bill to incorporate the Naraquaqus Sluiceway Company, reported with an amendment by Mr Woodbury from the Committee on Bills in the second reading, was read the second time; and the same, with the amendments on motion of Mr Robinson of Lincoln, were laid upon the table.

Bill creating the Village of Brunswick a Corporation for certain purposes (reported by Mr Littlefield from the Committee on the Judiciary on petition of Ebenezer Webster and others; Resolve respecting gunhouse sites (laid upon the table by Mr Strickland, severally read once and tomorrow eleven o'clock assigned for a second reading.
Bill in favor of the Penobscot Tribe of Indians. (reported in new draft by Mr Littlefield, from the Select Committee of the Senate to which said Bill had been referred) was read twice and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Resolves for the purchase and distribution of the Register of Maine came up from the House amended. The Senate reconsider their vote passing said Resolves to be engrossed adopt the amendment proposed by the House, and pass the same to be engrossed as amended, in concurrence.
