I have been there some 20 times, I do not think I can pick out anyone particular visit and say I found anything out of place; sometimes the patient would be more noisy , more demonstrative that others, but so far as the neatness of the hall is concerned, or the attention of the attendants is concerned , anything that is connected with the management of the hospital there is a great uniformity. Q. During the last year have you noticed any improvements? A. I think in one respect, and I do not know but Mrs. whidden should have the credit of that. The evening I went over and went into the rooms where the ladies were, I found the at work sewing, knitting and something of that kind. I thought from the appearance around that it was a very great improvement, those that were at work seemed quite happy.
