1216 A. (cont.) are well treated and kept in as good condition as could be expected from people in their condition; some of them are violent and it is difficult to keep clothing on them, but I have always found them in comfortable places and with more or less clothing on them. Q. As a practical business man, do you think it is possible to manage a community of four or five hundred people, the great bulk of them whom are insane, without having a jar or disturbance of any kind? A. I should think it would be very difficult.
