Chase; so you mean to state that when you were there acting in official capacity that you signed your name to and accepted that report, that your name also appeared as a member of the committee signing the report, and never knew it? A. I mean to say just this, that I signed that book, from beginning to end and did not notice anything about that. Q. You signed your name on the middle of page 614 and never knew your name was on that page as a member of the committee? A. I did not know that that report was the next thing proceeding the page. I was probably not ten minutes signing that book through Q. Did you or not assent fully to that report and if Col. Dowe asked would you not have authorized him to place your name to the report? A.
